The word blog is defined as “a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style.”
That hardly explains what a blog is, it simply explains the amount of work needed.
I define a blog as a business tool, with one page and multiple articles. Similar to have a personal magazine that you control, edit and write for. Blogs can be used for several purposes; however, the main goal of any blog is to share your thoughts with a person or group of people that may be interested in what you have to say. Many individuals use blogs to share their personal adventures, to make money online and as personal journals. As a business, you have clients. Some of those clients are loyal, while others are not. The role of your blog is to communicate with both the loyal and disloyal clients in order to keep both of these groups in constant contact with your brand. Some clients really care about your business and would spend time to follow you.
